This week's podcast episode (Ep 127 ⚡️) I'm talking about how working with some of the coolest brands (Yeti, Ford, Uber, Hydroflask, etc.) came through working with clients that, to be honest, nobody really dreams of working with (ie. transport companies, promotional design warehouses, etc.).
Instead of focusing on "only working with outdoor brands" - I focused on high-leverage opportunities with all different types of companies. This meant I was working way less, for way more. This afforded me to spend my time in the outdoors and build a reputation as somebody who is an expert in that space - and my dream clients started actually approaching me (or started being way more receptive to my outreaches).
